There are so many things to do near June Lake Chalet.
Local restaurants include the Tiger Bar, Ohanas 395, June Lake Brewing, Carson Peak Inn, T-Bar Social Club, Eagle's Landing Restaurant, and Silver Lake Cafe. For the best french toast in the world we recommend taking the drive to Mammoth (13 miles south on the 395) to The Stove.
Favorite things to do include swimming, fishing, boating or trying out the rope swing at Gull Lake, the beach at June Lake, Yosemite National Park, Devils Post Pile, Rainbow Falls, Mono Lake, Bodie Ghost Town, Mammoth Mountain and June Lake Mountain for mountain biking, off-roading, skiing and snowboarding, and back-country exploring. They say that the back-country in June Lake is the "Best in the West" Above all take time to go have a picnic by our beautiful June Lake Loop lakes, stargaze from local natural hot springs. If you head down to Wild Willies hot spring, when you get to the end of the boardwalk head left. We highly recommend you go at night. The best advice we can give our guests is to take time to do a little of nothing. ("
